If you love those unique gadgets and one-of-a-kind items, be sure to shop in the marketplace. Then prowl the colorful girl stuff section where you’ll find jewelry, cosmetics, spas, linens, and even the most popular anti-aging product on the planet. You’ll also find a wide range of exhibitors dedicated to your beauty, health, and fitness in the Building B wellness section.

New location this year, so be sure to check out the Body, Mind, and Spirit Psychic Fair. Get tuned into your inner life at this illuminating event that spans the gamut of esoteric pursuits like mediumship and meditation. Experience and learn about metaphysical modalities and check in for messages from loved ones no longer on this plane. With an open mind and a searching heart, you’ll be on the path to discovering new things about yourself—perhaps even your psychic ability. Ready for a decor facelift? Time to face the fact that you’re swimming in clutter. You’ll want to check out Building C, where you’ll find the cream of the crop in design professionals. Building C also features flooring, furnishings, window fashions, home renovators, hot tubs, paint and wall coverings, décor items, kitchens, appliances, electronics, woodwork, and design items, including artwork.

We know you’re going to work up an appetite for exploring everything at the show. Our incredible line-up of twelve food truck vendors offering “street food” can be found outside on the fairgrounds. Featured will be gourmet coffees, fresh lemonade, and tasty offerings like Greek Donair’s, fish and chips, Japa Tacos, mac and cheese, poutine, and for those with a sweet tooth—-ice cream from Sweet Tooth Creamery. And, of course, those devilish little mini donuts that few can resist.

Dane Szohner was born in Vancouver, British Columbia where he has been a Musical Theatre Actor for over 15 years. He has appeared in many amazing productions such as: Oklahoma! Crazy for You, Titanic, Bye Bye Birdie, West Side Story, Guys and Dolls, and most recently Disney’s Beauty and The Beast as Gaston.
Growing up in Vancouver there is of course one name that comes to mind when you think of someone current who really brings to life the music of the past… Michael Buble. Dane performed with many of the same people that Michael has performed with and even got a chance to meet him in an intimate social setting where he told him “You beat me to it!”, to which Michael laughed. During that conversation, they became aware that guess what… they were taught by the same Voice Teacher!
Dane has had the privilege of travelling the world, bringing his love of Michael Buble and Frank Sinatra to thousands through his concerts and as a performer aboard Holland America and Princess Cruise Lines. He is also currently working with his Michael Buble tribute show for many corporate and fund-raising events.

Our host of the Family Fest stage is back for his 10th year, will be dazzling you with his amazing tricks and silly antics! Now, Norden has won the Children’s Entertainer for 13 years and he voted Canadian Magician of the Year for 2019!
He will amaze us with his show Abara-ca-curious! Come and see a world of curiosities!
PARTY GAME SHOW presents FAMILAR FEUD!
Sound Familiar? Yes – we are bringing game shows to the main stage! Come see your hosts, Norden and Gordon, play the ‘Familiar Feud’ styled game show with a twist! Audience participants get to be picked to play and win some prizes! Should you attend this show? SURVEY SAYS – YES!
Dunvegan Dance Academy
The Dunvegan Dance Academy, who are formerly known as the Stave Falls Scottish Dancers, is a non-competitive dance school for children ages 3 to adult. They offer year-round registration in group performance classes and Highland Exam classes and will be hosting some arts and dance camps at their Maple Ridge studio this summer.
Throughout participating in local parades and performing at legions and Burns suppers throughout the lower mainland, the dancers host fundraisers to allow them to travel the world. Their senior dancers’ most recent trip was a 3-week tour of Scotland, Ireland, and England in 2019 and they are excited to be on the road again soon. The Dunvegan dancers are thrilled to be back at the Ridge Meadows Home Show with a program comprised mostly of choreographed Scottish novelty numbers and would like to thank everyone for stopping by to watch!

ESCAPE WIZARDS ESCAPE ROOM
Norden & Gordon are bringing their newest creation to the fair – a mobile ESCAPE ROOM! That’s right – you can enter – but can you get out in time? Mobile Escape Wizards will be in the Fun Zone and will be FREE admission!! Come on down and try their newest creation!
MONSTER FOAM PARTY
Back by popular demand! Monster Foam will be on-site to fill a portion of the zone area up to four feet deep with their allergy-free, zero clean-up, environmentally friendly foam! You’ve never seen anything like it – and the kids will LOVE it! So come dressed and prepared to have a FOAM-azing time. Friday, 4 pm – 7 pm, Saturday, 12 pm – 6 pm, and Sunday, 11 am – 4 pm.
BELLS AND WHISTLES MINI GOLF
Come and play some FREE mini golf all weekend with Bells and Whistles. Compete against yourself or friends and family, fun for the entire group. Don’t worry, it’s not just for kids!

FACE PAINTING
No visit to Family Fest is complete without a trip to face-painting headquarters located at Maple Ridge Fairgrounds, right in the thick of things at Family Fest. Talented and imaginative young artists are ready to create face art your child will love—-all weekend long, by donation, with face-painting proceeds going toward keeping Family Fest a free event.
CRAFT TENT
With Mother’s Day right around the corner, Ridge Meadows Home Show Craft tent has you covered! Come create a card for that special person in your life, or a couple of garden critters for their garden or flowers! Create, let your imagination run wild, and let glitter reign, and take home your creations when you’re finished! Everything supplied.
SCOUTS CANADA RALLY DAY
At the Kub Kar Rally, the Cubs and Scouts race their Kub Kars and Scout Trucks for trophies. The kids design, cut out using carpentry tools, and partially assemble their wooden vehicles in one meeting, and then take them home to finish assembling, painting, decorating, etc. At the next meeting, the vehicles are weighed and youth practice running them on the track in preparation for the Rally. Trophies are given out for speed and best design for Cubs and Scout races. Come and watch these talented kids show off their building and racing skills. Saturday, May 3, 10:00AM – 4:00PM located in the Exhibit barn on the fairgrounds.
